Spotlight Oil: DigestZen

May 4, 2017

The spotlight oil of the month is DigestZen®, a glorious digestive blend! My husband's birthday road-trip called for a good bottle of it. Away from paleo diet we went.

The road trip had us eating mouthwatering cream cheese danishes, decadent cream puffs, and freshly warmed spiced cider from a wonderful shop in Leavenworth, WA. The 411 hamburger spot from my local Canadian girlfriends took us to a town called Penticton. We arrived at a hole in the wall burger joint called Burger 55. Wow, this place had the most wickedly delicious burgers, and friendly service. We headed north east to a little town called Harrison Hot Spring.

Settling into our cozy hotel we walked across the road to Village Pizza. They offered a slice of heaven in the form of pizza. Don't stop reading you anti pizza people... this is no joke. I take my food seriously so hear me when I say make a trip to Harrison for some pizza, but don't forget your DigestZen®! This pizza joint was nothing fancy on the outside but the Thai pizza was epic. Literally the BEST pizza I've ever eaten and I don't even like pizza! Spicy peanut sauce, cheese, chicken, bell peppers, mushrooms, banana peppers, cheese...and we ate the whole thing. My hubby hates mushrooms and I witnessed him eat this slice of scrumptiousness without picking ANYTHING off!

Sprinkled throughout the trip was sushi, roast, donuts, and all the food we packed in the car that was healthy. Needless to say, DigestZen® was taken to calm tummies, ease bloating, and bring the digestive track some normalcy and peace. We rarely ever eat like this, making it a nice treat, yet reassuring us that paleo diet is truly the best for making us feel well. For all my foodies out there, DigestZen® is a must have, and so is trying foods from every new town. Cheers to lots of yummy food and oils to keep the body cleansing and working right!
